Being present in each of these steps, allows San Antonio Export S.A. to maintain a high quality, and therefore obtain a tangible competitive edge.

The modern, innovative and flexible organization is supported by an important own production

San Antonio Export S.A. belongs to an economic corporation that started with this agricultural activity in 1984 counting with a total surface of 500 hectares. Nowadays, responding to its investment policy, it counts with 15.000 hectares.

At the very beginning, the company established as a legume producer. Later it diversified the varieties produced with an important investment in genetics, and a careful handling of the product, as a basic need to assure the products quality.

Later on, the company acknowledged the need of getting involved in the product commercialization and with that aim, a joint venture was established with Conagra Argentina. The company became into its main vendor and kept this relationship during ten years. The joint between the two companies took place as both shared the same principles: quality and commitment.

Due to strategic reasons, in 2003 Conagra Argentina left the country. In September that year and as a reaction to this new transformation, San Antonio Export S.A. was borne, firm that continues to provide legumes to clients with high quality standards.

Since then, and counting with a short experience as an exporter company, San Antonio Export S.A. was positioned among the top five legume exporters in the country; this, leaving a side the citrus and grains phase which represent a very important volume of the companies’ operations.
